Alex Stoyanov, 69, a consulting engineer until his retirement last March, died Friday at his home at 2507 NE 30th Ave. Stoyanov came to this country from Yugoslavia in 1906 and became the senior partner of Stoyanov and Johnston, consulting engineers, before he retired.
He is survived by his widow, Eva M; three daughters, Mrs. Alex (Sally) Steigerwald of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Brame of Portland, and Mrs. Joan K. Leach of Berkeley, Calif.; a son Milan Stoyanov of Erie, Pa.; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Colonial Mortuary. Interment will be private.
