The son of the late John W. and Etta (Smith) Beachley of Middletown, he was a member of the Church of the Brethren at Sharpsburg and a deacon in the church.
Besides his wife, Cora May (Clipp) Beachley, he is survived by one son, John H. Beachley, Washington, D.C.; granddaughter Dianna; brother, Vernon Beachley, St. Petersburg, Fla; sisters, Mary E. Beachley, Jefferson, Md., and Mrs. Edna Beachley Clipp, Frederick.
Funeral services were held at the home; interment was in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
