HIRAM BAKER, a well-known citizen of Washington Township, died at his home near the village of Washington Tuesday morning at 5 o'clock. Mr. Baker was born March 9, 1829, east of Mansfield on what is known as the Sherman Hill. He leaves a widow, three sons and one daughter, A.C. and I.A. Baker of Washington Township; Charles W., of Redland, California, and Mrs. Arch Purdy of Washington Township. Mr. Baker served in the Civil War, having been a member of the 163rd O.V.I. The funeral will be held Thursday at 1 o'clock from the house, the Rev. Mr. Morris officiating.

HIRAM BAKER & ISABEL HULL were married on November 20, 1851 at No. 55, North Diamond Street in Mansfield, Ohio. They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on November 20th, 1901. About 75 guests were present to celebrate the occasion.
