Mrs. Sophia Smith, age 81, of Ainsworth and formerly of Juniata passed away Monday, December 17. Survivors are 4 sisters, Mrs. Esther Gerloff of Hastings, Mrs. June Killion of Elsmere, Neb., Mrs. Rachel Elphfritz of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Hazel Riley of Bellflower, Calif., and 1 brother, Alick Fairbanks of Norwalk, Calif. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 20 at 1:30 p.m. in our Chapel with Rev. Norman Bloom officiating. Burial will be in the Blue Valley cemetery at Ayr.
