She was the daughter of Sherman Glenn "Buck" Boroff and Edna Mae (Ayers) Fenton. On Oct 19, 1977, she married Stephen Wayne Ries, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Randy L. Bedwell, Ohio City; two sisters-in-law: Naomi Boroff, Ohio City, and Diane "Dee" Boroff, Convoy; and two grandchildren, Samantha and Bryce Bedwell.
Deceased are an infant daughter, Teresa; three brothers: Edwin Glenn, William Earl and Donald E. Boroff; and a sister, Rhea Bernice Swander.
She was a 1951 graduate of Ohio City-Liberty High School and a member of the Ohio City Church of God. She had worked at Federal Mogul, Van Wert. She was a long time volunteer for the American Red Cross and a regular blood donor as well as driving for area blood runs.
Services will be at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Randy Bevington officiating.
