Horace P. Larrowe, 92, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 in the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, Virginia. Mr. Larrowe was born December 27, 1919 in Carroll County, Virginia to Erritt Heath and Susannah Hill Larrowe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Hanks Larrowe; sister June Larrowe and brothers Wayne LaRue, Dale LaRue, Howard Larrowe, and Dean Larrowe. Mr. Larrowe is survived by brothers & sisters-in-law: Carroll & Christine Larrowe; Wake & Brenda Larrowe all of Woodlawn, Virgnia; two sisters-in-law: Rubie Larrowe and Colene Larrowe also of Woodlawn, Virginia; several nieces and nephews and special friend Rebecca Cooke. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Vinton Quesenberry officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM Tuesday until time for the service at the funeral home.
