Donna "Joan" Johnson, 67, of McConnellsburg, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born June 20, 1938, in McConnellsburg, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Myrtle Sipes Miller.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, John B. Johnson. They were married May 19, 1956.

She was a housewife.

She was a Protestant and attended Laurel Ridge Christian Church in Big Cove Tannery, PA.

She is survived by three daughters, DoriAnn Hoffman, Diane Clever and Holly Johnson, all of McConnellsburg; one son, John W. Johnson of McConnellsburg; two sisters, Wendy Miller of Charles Town, WV, and Birdie Cunningham of Amissville, VA; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, McConnellsburg. The Rev. David Hamilton will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, Fulton County Unit.
