Norma Irene Wright
Norma Irene Wright, age 63, of Saint Paris passed away at 2:30 p.m. in her residence.
Norma was born on April 23, 1947 in South Charleston, Ohio, a daughter of the late Homer Knisley and Helen Galbraith. She married Sherman Wright on December 7, 1963 in Xenia, Ohio. Together they raised five children: John (Kerry) Wright of Boston, MA, Bryan Wright of Shreveport, LA, Craig Wright and friend Lindsay Cook, St. Paris, Christine (Jacob) George of Medway, Ohio and Azaria Wright of Saint Paris.
Norma was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren: Christopher, Zachary, Allison, Jacob, Hanna, Jordan and Bryan. She is also survived by three sisters: Phyllis (Cecil) Earles of Springfield, Jean (Roy) Sibole of Springfield, and Leona (Larry) Cawthorn of St. Paris.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step father Matt Galbraith, sister, Nancy Stewart, granddaughter, Tiffany Wright, and grandson, Gavin Eric Wright.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Atkins-Shively Funeral Home 216 S. Springfield Street, Saint Paris, Ohio with Pastor Darlene Brashear of the Pentecostal Church of God presiding. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
