He married Martha Stevens on November 29, 1928. Henry William Raver, and Williams Raver's son Gerald Raver drove with James Raver in a model 1917 Thomas (Detroit) automobile while the rest of the family took the train south to Bloomfield, California. Henry Paul Raver and William Raver stayed in Bloomfield through the first winter then went to Jerome idaho with William Raver's sons, Gerald Raver. William Raver was residing in Klamath Falls, Oregon in April of 1958.Military Records:Head Quarters, Dept. of the Misouri St. Louis MO January 14th 1863Sir I have the honor to enquire if the discharge papers of Henry P. Raver 46th Indianna Infantry are at your Headquarters? having him sent home by mistake about the 18th day of October 1862.Head Quarters 45th Indianna Inf. Helena Ark. 28th 1863The discharge papers of the within mentioned Henry P. Raver accompanied with blank final statements were received at there headquarters about the middle of November 1862. With instructions to fill up and served to the said Raver. This was done and he has been discharged and has received his papers_____ _____ was signed by order of Major Gen Levnty Army of the United States. Certificate of disability for discharge.Henry P Raver of Captain Levoy Burson company HQ the 46th Regiment of the United States Indianna Vol. was enlisted by Captain H.B. Hammons the 46th regiment. Vol, at Pulaski Indianna on the 17th day of October, 1861, to serve three years; he was born in Pulaski Co. in the state of Indianna, is 21 years of age five feet ten inches high, fair complection, black eyes, brown hair, and by occupation when enlisted a farmer. During the last two months said soldier has been unfit for duty 60 days by reason of __________________ _____________ __________ by continued fever and chronic dysentery, his disease was contracted at Ceola aprox. about the 1st day of April 1862 since which time he has been wholly unfit for army Military duty. Whatever his disease was contracted while in the service and in the service of the Army of the United States Willena Ark. September 28th 1862 Captain Burenes Company.I certify that I have carefully examined the said soldier Henry P. Raver of Captains Bureaurs company and find him incapable of performing the duties of a soldier because of chronic diarrhea with much disability.Discharged the 28th Day of September 1862 at Helena Arkansas Inconsideration M Martin Surgeon US BOMarried Margaret Lucinda Eltzroth at Logansport by Mayor Larose on March 24th 1864marriage record Logansport Cass County Indianna.Separated over 2 years Divorced.henry Paul Raver died at 416 S 3rd Boise Idaho on My 26 1933 buried in Jerome Idaho May 29th 1933 at 1 PM Wm Mc Bralerly was given flag at Briel.From Surgeon General office Record and Pension Division Wash DC Nov. 18th 1887Henry P Raver PVT.... Co H 46 Ind Vol was admitted to Steamc Sept. 29th 1862 with diarrhea and transferred Oct. 3 1862 and that he entered Good Samaritan General Hospital St. Louis MO October 3, 1862 with chronic diarrhea DX. also given as lumbago and discard from service Oct. 28th 1862 No other records found of solders treatment for any disability other than above incident.Dept. of the InteriorHenry Paul Raver was discharged at Helena Arkansas September 28th 1862 he was discharged by rheumatism spinal afflictions and deafness at Riddles point Arkansas April or May 1862Henry P. Raver pension who was last paid at the rate of $100.00 per month to May 3, 1933 because of death May 26th 1933.
