She was born Jan. 26, 1940, in Swanton, a daughter of the late Robert Scott Davis and Maude Doll Brown Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Calcamp; three brothers, Junior, Donald and Johnnie; and one great-granddaughter.
Survivors include one son, Donald E. (Justine) Calcamp Jr.; two daughters, Robin E. (Ernest) Gooding, of Montrose, W.Va., and Brenda (Greg) Wotring, of Oakland; six brothers, Bob, Burt, Bill and Jim Davis, all of Oakland, Elwood Davis, of Swanton, and Gary Davis, of Westernport; seven sisters, Nancy Braham, of Virginia, Geraldine Harding, of Augusta, W.Va., Patsy Myers, Hellan Marley, Susan Steyer and Millie Rice, all of Oakland, and Joyce Livengood, of Swanton; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mary was retired from Bausch and Lomb where she had worked since 1973 as a line inspector. She was a member of Maple Grove Assembly of God Church and attended Mountain Top Christian Assembly Church. She was an avid quilter and made many puppets for church youth groups.
Friends were received at Hinkle Funeral Home, Davis, W.Va., on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, at 11 a.m. in Maple Grove Assembly of God Church, Eglon, with Pastor Robert Kleir officiating.
Interment will follow in Accident Cemetery.
