Edwin Junior Davis, 61, died Thursday, July 24, 2003 at his residence in York Twp.

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, July 28th at Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York Twp. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Rev. J. Thomas Shelley, pastor at Zion (Shaffer's) United Lutheran Church in Seven Valleys.

Mr. Davis was born on March 10, 1942 in Swanton, Md., the son of Maude D. (Brown) Davis of Swanton, Md., and the late Robert Davis.

He was employed as a Maintenance Mechanic for 35 years at ACCO until he retired in 2001. He was a member of the United Steel Workers Union and a social Member the Red Lion V.F.W. Post #1446.

Mr. Davis is survived by his daughter, Vicki R. Davis of York; companion and former wife, Marcia J. Davis of Red Lion; seven brothers, Robert, Burt and Jimmy Davis, all of Oakland, Md., Elwood and Donald Davis, both of Swanton, Md., Bill Davis of Mt. Lake Park, Md., and Gary Davis of Barton Md.; eight sisters, Patsy Myers and Sue Steyer, both of Oakland, Md., Mary Calcamp of Horseshoe Run, WV, Nancy Branham of Fredericksburg, Va., Joyce Livengood of Swanton, Md., Helen Marley of Deer Park, Md., Millie Rice of Lakewells, Fla., and Geraldine Harding of Augusta, WV. He was preceded in death by one brother, John Davis and three half sisters.
