Lee Ann passed away on August 27, 2012, at the age of 56, surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on August 11th, 1956 in Tranquility, California to Richard and Betty Fairless. They moved to Caruthers during grade school where she attended Caruthers Elementary and graduated from Caruthers High in 1974. Lee Ann married David Dean in 1973 and they had three children together who were the joy of her life. They established a successful construction business and built their dream home in Caruthers. After the end of her marriage, she started her own successful housecleaning business and became close friends with many of her clients. Lee Ann was known for her warmth and kindness, love of animals and children, and positive and cheerful personality. She loved to spend time playing with her grandkids and taking them to Monster Jam, fishing at Huntington Lake, gardening, and cooking. Her jams and jellies were famous and a sought after Christmas gift. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Fairless; her stepfather, Ben Little; and her mother-in-law, LaVerne Perry. She is survived by her mother, Betty Little; father, Richard Fairless; sister, Dawn; stepbrothers, Benjamin, Alan, and Barry Little; her children, Heather and Scott Garrison, Nicole and Larry Esqueda, and Joshua and Charlotte Dean. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. They include Brady, Daniel, Will, Lucas, Logan, and Baby Emma due in December. A Celebration of Life will be held at Family Fellowship Church, 2114 Goldridge, Selma, Ca 93662, on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., with a lunch reception to follow. Arrangements are being made by Page Funeral Chapel in Selma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
