Violet Biddenstadt, 77, of Johnson Street Road, died at 10:05 p.m. Monday at Graham Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna Roberts Inman, born Nov. 14, 1895 in Keokuk.

March 20, 1919 she married William H. Biddenstadt, who preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 1959.

She was a lifelong resident of Keokuk and a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Survivors include: six sons, Julius and Vernon, both of Hamilton, Bird of Council Bluffs, Ralph, Richard and William Jr, all of Keokuk; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Frances) Spiesz of Keokuk and Mrs. DArius (Elizabeth) Derr of Croton, Iowa. a brother RoyInman of Keokuk; a sister Mrs. Hazel Varner of Fort madison; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by three brothers; John Cary, Clyde Irvin, and Henry Theodore Inman, and two sisters Etta May Varner and Garnett Benjamin.

Services where at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Schmidt Memorial Home with Rev. A. H. Bauch officiating. Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
