RUDOLPH ZLATOHLAVEK

Rudolph Zlatohlavek, 63, of 1105 Green street, stricken with a heart attack
this morning after he started work at the Rahr Malting company, died a short
time later after being moved to his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral
home. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
He was born in Prague, Bohemia, in 1885 and came to Manitowoc with his parents
when a boy. He married Lucille Basil, who died in 1932. In 1934 he married Mrs.
Anna Cisler Swoboda.
Mr. Zlatohlavek was employed for a number of years as a cabinet maker at the
plant of the American Seating company. When the company moved away he engaged
in private contracting work and later entered the employ of the Rahr Malting
company. He was a member of the ZCBJ lodge and the carpenters and joiners
union.
Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Shirley of this city; step-daughter, Mrs.
Richard Meyer of this city; stepson, Donald of this city; two brothers, Wencel
and Stanley of this city.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after Sunday noon.
