ALVIN STANLEY ZLATOHLAVEK

Following a three months’ illness Alvin S. Zlatohlavek, 23, of 1216 Philippen
street, died yesterday afternoon at the home.
Before being taken ill, Mr. Zlatohlavek had completed plans to wed Miss Mildred
Peronto. He suffered a stroke and has been confined to his home since.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the First Presbyterian
church, the Rev. C. H. Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
He was born in this city in 1918, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Zlatohlavek and
was educated in the city schools. He held a clerical position at the offices of
the Aluminum Goods Company until taken ill. He was a member of the choir of the
First Presbyterian church.
Survivors are the parents; brother, Ellsworth and sister, Bernice, of this city;
and his fiancé, Mildred Peronto.
The body may be viewed after 7 o’clock tonight at the Shimek & Schwartz funeral
parlors and will be moved to the church Saturday at 10 a.m.
