WILLIAM H. ZAHN

William H. Zahn, 68, of 1515 Han?ker St., Manitowoc, died late Wednesday
morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after an illness of four days.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church. The Rev. Alfred
Pritzl will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Zahn was born at Manitowoc July 20, 1891, son of the late William and
Amela Boettcher Zahn. He married Leona Burkart at Manitowoc June 27, 1921.
For 49 years he had followed the barber trade and for 27 years was a
partner with Laurie Robertson and ???? Barber Shop, 804 Buffalo St.,
Manitowoc. He retired in March of last year.
A veteran of World War I, Mrs. Zahn entered military service Ma? 21, 1943,
receiving his discharge June 24, 1949. He served as a ??? with 43rd Company
of the Transportation corps in ????. He was a member of Drews-Bleser
American Legion Post and Barbers Local No. 6?4.
Survivors are his wife, two sons, a sister, Mrs. Her??? Kukial of Gary,
Ind.; six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where the Rosary
will be recited at 7 p.m.
Military rites will be accorded at graveside by the Drews-Bleser Post.
