HELEN GILBERT
Mrs. Christ Gilbert, 63, of 1509 Torrison drive, died suddenly at
her home Saturday evening.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Urbanek and
Schlei funeral home, the Rev. Carroll L. Hinderlie officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Gilbert, nee Helen Zahn, was born in Sheboygan in 1883, and was
married to Mr. Gilbert in 1905. They have always made their home in
Manitowoc.
Survivors are the husband; three sons, Walton of California and Raymond
and Robert of Manitowoc; there (sic) daughters, Mrs. Henry Mauer and
Mrs. Frank Kelly of Gary, Ind., and Vivian at home; one brother, William
Zahn of Manitowoc; one sister, Mrs. Herbert Kukral of Gary, Ind.; and
five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home. Mrs. Gilbert was a member of the
Ladies Aid society of the First Lutheran church.
