ANTON ROZUM (d. 1967)

Anton Rozum Sr., 83, former Town of Gibson farmer, died Thursday at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he was a patient since July 7.
previous to going to the hospital he resided at Family Heritage Home,
Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Saur Funeral Home,
Kellnersville, and at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis
Creek. The Rev. John Haen will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Rozum was born March 28, 1884, in the Town of Gibson, son of the
late Joseph and Anna Rozum He married Annie Tesarik June 4, 1907, and
the couple farmed in the township until retirement. The couple
observed its golden wedding in 1957. Mrs. Rozum died in August, 1963.
He had served on the school board of the Riverview School and had
been a past director of Maribel State Bank.
Survivors are two sons, Edward, of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, and Anton Jr., of
Melnik, three daughters, Mrs. Victor (Rose) Gillespie, of Brawley,
Calif., Mrs. Anita Stoldt, of Milwaukee and Mrs. Walter (Anna)
Hoblitzell, of Plainfield, N.J., 10 grandchildren and 18
great-grandchildren. A son, a brother and a sister preceded him in
death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday where at
7:30 p.m. the Rosary will be recited.
