Daughter of Annie Tesarik and Anton Rozum.

She graduated from Marquette University College of Nursing in 1938.

Mrs. Hoblitzell served as a second lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps during World War II. She met and married her husband at Fort Bragg, N.C., in 1942.

She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was an avid bowler and belonged to a number of bowling leagues. As a resident of the Manasquan beachfront, she loved the beach and the ocean.

Mrs. Hoblitzell served as a member of the Laurel League, the Monday Afternoon Women's Club and the Altar Rosary Society of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Plainfield. She was a communicant of St. Denis Catholic Church, Manasquan, where she was a member of the church's Altar-Rosary Society and the St. Denis Seniors for many years.
