Violet M. Reininger, age 83, of 515 N. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Friday, January 22, 1999, at her residence.

Private Graveside Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 25, 1999, at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Rev. William Plank. She was born April 12, 1915, in Coogan, Iowa, daughter of the late George and Nora Musgrove Yohanek. She married John R. Reininger on March 17, 1933, in Waukegan, Ill. She was a member of First Presbyterian church, Manitowoc. Violet enjoyed taking care of the Greenhouse at the Manitowoc Senior Center for many years.

Survivors include her husband, John, Manitowoc; one son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Nancy Reininger, Manitowoc; two daughters and one son-in-law, Nancy and James Campbell, Reedsville, Carol Hybers, Stockton, Calif.; two brothers and one sister-in-law, George and Jo Yohanek, Cordova, Charles Vallejo Sr., Manitowoc; one sister, Eva St. Martin, Sparks, Nev.; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
