JOSEPH RATHSACK

Joseph C. Rathsack, 65, of 427 Christel Dr., Valders, died Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 17, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Edmund E. Olson will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Military graveside rites will be accorded Mr. Rathsack by Veterans of Foreign Wars Otto-Oas Post 659 of Manitowoc.
Mr. Rathsack was born Jan. 19, 1918, at Manitowoc, son of the late Walter and Laura Hansen Rathsack. He had been educated at Manitowoc schools and had been a resident all his life. He served with the United States Army in World War II and Koren Conflict. Mr. Rathsack was employed at Burger Boat Company for 20 years, retiring in 1974. He married Clara Belle Liddle May 10, 1941, at Clearwater, Fla. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, four sons and two daughters-in-law, Richard and Judy Rathsack of Century, Fla., Michael and Pat Rathsack of Clayton, Mo., Joseph L. Rathsack of Milwaukee and Walter Rathsack of Manitowoc; two daughters and one son-in-law, Walene and Craig Ross of Kirkland, Wash., and Kathryn Blain of Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law, Sterling and Joan Rathsack of Butternut, Wis.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Bette and John Bebow of Manitowoc and Lucille Peterson of Birlingame, Calif.; six grandchildren, a great granddaughter, nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Robert Rathsack and a grandson, Richard Rathsack.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday until the time of services.
