Luella Mildred (Childs) Lambert (86 yrs) b. June 17, 1882 was the third of seven children (Ira Bell, Isaac Elijah "Lidge", Luella Mildred, Joseph R. , Guy Truman, Clifford Ernest, Florence V. )born to Joseph L.Childs and Blanche Clementina (Tina) Peckenpaugh.
She married Arthur "Art" Kenneth LAMBERT b. May 9, 1880 Soham, Cambridge England, son of Harry and Harriet Lambert. d. Jan. 1969 San Jose, CA. Her husband, Arthur Kenneth Lambert, farmed in the Fulton and Fedora, South Dakota area up to 1946. Luella grew up in Miner County, Fedora, SD.
Luella was a School Teacher. Luella carried the mail in the summer time, when she was not teaching school. She used a horse and buggy to and from Fulton, SD. She picked up mail at three different places and brought mail to those places on the return trip.
In 1946, Luella and Arthur K. (A.K.) moved to San Jose, CA to be near their daughter, Darlene (Lambert) Doran. Luella died Aug. 4, 1967 San Jose, CA.

2. Blanche Clementine Lambert b. 1911 Hanson Co. SD m. Glen Canfield in SD the moved to southern CA. Children: Vernell, Eileen, Sharon, Blanche lives with Sharon in Texas.
3. Grace Lambert b. Sept. 14, 1913 d. Sept. 15, 1913. Lived ten hours. Buried in Fedora Cemetery, Miner Co. South Dakota
4. Darlene Lambert b. 1918 Hanson Co. SD m. William Doran of Avon and moved to San Jose, CA where son Wayne was born. Willim died. Darleen married Samuel Evans and lived in San Jose. Second husband Sam died in 1981
5. Muriel Lambert b. 1921 Hanson Co. SD m.1) John Cory. Children Johnna, Karen, Richard. Divorced. m. Dean Mitchell. Son Steven Mitchell. Muriel died in 1980,Los Angeles and is buried between her parents.
