Born November 27, 1895, in rural Bushnell, the daughter of Louis and Euphemia (Burrows) Simpson, she married Ora Barrick on February 18, 1914, at Ellisville. He died November 14,1970.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, three grandchildren, two brothers and nine sisters.
Survivors are one son, the Rev. John Barrick of Alabama; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Woods of Ipava, Mrs. Glendon (Helen) Straud of Florida, and Mae Hoskins of Kentucky; 18 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren and six-great-great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Cuba Church of the Nazarene. Services were held April 14 at her church, Rev. Douglas Kindle and Rev. Gordon Barrick officiating. Henry Memorial Home in Cuba was in charge of arrangements. Burial was at Wiley Cemetery in rural Ellisville.
