Mable I. (Goosby) Moore, 94, of Beaver Falls, PA, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 11, 2012, from Heritage Valley Beaver.
She was born on April 1, 1917, in Thomasville, GA, to the late Fate and Susie (Grant) Goosby. She was member of First Baptist Church, Wampum, PA, where she served in the choir, Missionary Board, Deaconess Board, Sunday School teacher and secretary for Sunday School.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Geraldine (Sylvester) Waters and Constance (Keith) Guilford; eight grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burton Moore; her daughter, Susie Goosby; three grandchildren, Karen Alice Goosby, Robert 'Red' Goosby and Joseph Waters, and siblings, Madie Curry, Ollie Goosby, Lonnie Goosby, John Goosby, Charles Goosby, LeRoy Goosby and Robert Fate Goosby.
Viewing will be held today, February 15, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Beaver Falls, PA, where a service will be held on Thursday February 16, 2012, at 11 a.m. with her nephew and pastor, Rev. Eric Board, giving the eulogy, and Rev. Dwight Banks officiating.
Interment will be in Beaver Falls Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the GOODEN & BROWN FUNERAL HOME, Aliquippa, PA.
