Frank A. Larson, 76, Burley, died Wednesday (7 Mar 1973) at Cassia Memorial Hospital of a long illness.
He was born Oct. 7, 1896 at Marion near Oakley, the son of John Erick and Pauline Ely Larson. He attended schools in Marion and Burley.
He married Lucille Price Feb. 2, 1921 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
He was a member of the LDS Church, and had served as Sunday School superintendent, YMMIA president, and High Priest Quorum group leader.
Mr. Larson moved to Burley at the age of 10, and had since resided here.
His widow survives him, also two sons, Arnold Larson, Denver, Colo., and Max Larson, Burley; a daughter, Mrs. Golden (Marie) Wood, Burley; three brothers: Eldon Larson, Lewiston, Clfton Larson, Burley, and Stan Larson, Jacksonville, Ore.; three sisters, Mrs. Don (Pauline) Coltrin, Caldwell, Mrs. Alice Kaggie, Brea, Calif., and Mrs. Isaac (Pearl) Lee, Burley and 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services wil be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday (10 Mar 1973) in the Star LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Lee L. Frodsham officiating. Internment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
Friends may call at Payne Mortuary Friday afternoon and evening and at the church one hour prior to the services on Saturday.
