"Robert L. Barrett, 85, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away on January 1, 2007. Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife Marian of 64 wonderful years of marriage. Surviving are his daughter, Cheryl M. Kestner of Glendale, AZ; son, Robert Gary Barrett of Tracy's Landing MD; two sisters, Betty Sklenar and Shirley House; one brother, Don Barrett; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Robert was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran and was a gunner on a B-17A. Robert worked as a cartographer for the Department of the Navy, Air Navigation Division, in Maryland. He retired after 30 years of govern-ment service in Arizona. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 13, 2007, 10 a.m. at Phoenix Memorial Park Cemetery."
