Rev. William Edward "Bill" Henry, age 74. died Monday, May 31, 1999 at Tucson, Arizona,

He was born August 7, 1924, at Siloam Springs, Arkansas, the son of Robert and Nellie Louella (Mooney) Henry.

He was a U. S. Merchant Marine Veteran of WWII.

He and Phyllis Mae Thomas were married November 10, 1946 in Benton County, Arkansas. Most of their married life was spent as a team, pastoring several churches in Oklahoma and Arizona. Bill and Phyllis moved to Arizona in 1980.

Survivors include his wife, of 53 years, Phyllis; six children: Luellen, Robert, Nancy, Susan, Mark and Marianne; two brothers, Ribert J, Henry and Ralph B, Henry; and two sisters, Lucille Ingersol and Katheryn Louise Syler.

Graveside Services are Monday, June 7, 1999 with burial in the National Cemetery at Fayetteville.
