OLLA — Funeral services for Millard T. Cornwell, 89, of Olla, were to be held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia with the Rev. Doris Dearman of Tallulah officiating.
Burial was to be in the Olla Cemetery.
Mr. Cornwell died Wednesday in Franklin Parish Hospital in Winnsboro after a long illness.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Effie Cornwell of Olla; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Harris of Bloomboro, Tex.; two sons, Herman Cornwell of Lake Charles and M. V. Cornwell of McComb, Miss.; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
