STATE HOSPITAL DEATHS
Lorin Mirise, 66, of Roscoe, died Tuesday at the Masillon state hospital of influenza. The body will be taken to Coshocton for burial.

FORMER COUNTY SCHOOL TEACHER DIES WEDNESDAY
L. M. Mirise, one of the county's best known instructors in the public school a few years ago, died at Massillon Wednesday morning following an extended illness following a general breakdown. The body arrived in Coshocton Thursday and was removed to the home of a son, J. H. Mirise, 418 south ninth st. where funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Burial will be made in Roscoe Cemetery. (NOTE: Cemetery has no record of burial there.)
L. M. Mirise was born in Coshocton County 66 years ago and has made his home in the county through his useful life. Through more than a quarter of a century he taught public school in many sections of the county spending much time and effort in the Conesville, Blissfield and Clark schools. He was one of the best known educators of the county and numbered his friends by the scores in almost all the county communities.
He leaves on son, J. H. Mirise, Coshocton, and three daughters: Mrs. W. H. Williams, Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Uriah Foster, Coshocton Route 6; and Mrs. A. F. McDougall, Ypsilanti, Michigan.
He was a member of the Coshocton Methodist Protestant Church and during his active life was a strong church worker and a valued citizen.
