Sister Dies
Mrs. Iva Foster, Warsaw, received word of the death of her sister, Mrs. Evelena Mirise Green, 82, which occurred Jan 2, at her home in Corvallis, Ore. She was born Dec. 2, 1875, in Coshocton County, a daughter of Lorin and Rachel (Talmadge) Mirise, and was married to James A. Green who is deceased. Mrs. Green was graduated from Roscoe high school and later taught at the Bairds, Bowman and Bantum schools in Coshocton county. She also graduated from the nursing school at Christ's hospital in Cincinnati before going to Oregon over 30 years ago. She last visited here in 1948. Besides her sister in Warsaw, the survivors include several nieces and nephews in Coshocton and Columbus. Two sisters and one brother are deceased. Services and burial were held in Oregon.

Miss Mirise is Wedded in the Far West
The Coshocton County friends of Miss Lena Mirise, formerly of this city, will be extremely interested in the announcement of her marriage to Mr. William H. Williams of St. Louis which took place in Tacoma, Washington recently. Miss Mirise was formerly a Roscoe girl and at one time she taught in the schools of Jackson and Bethlehem townships. Later she became a trained nurse and in this vocation has been engaged at different times within the past few years in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Pittsburh, Chicago, being last employed as superintendent in the Children's Orthopedic Hospital in Seattle, Wash.Mr. and Mrs. Williams are now enjoying an extended wedding trip through California and will later locate in Tacoma, where Mr. Williams will engage in business and where they will be at home to their friends at 1713 South Eighth Street.
