Salt Lake Tribune, The (UT) - March 10, 2002 Deceased Name: Jessie Green Hammer. Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Jessie Green Hammer, passed away peacefully March 8, 2002 in Salt Lake City. Born March 6, 1912 to Alger Meadowcroft and Margaret Moriarty Meadowcroft. Married Orien Green, later divorced. Married Bob Hammer. He passed away Oct 31, 2001. Jessie enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and reading. She was kind, loving and generous to all people.

Survived by her two daughters, Joyce Benson, Jennie Hammer; son, Frank (Sue) Hammer; five grandchildren, Danielle Turner, Andy, Mindy, Amy and Heidi Hammer; and two great-grandchildren, Doug Schwartz, Megan Hammer.

Preceded in death by a great-grandson, Max Turner. The family wishes to thank the staff at Wasatch Valley Rehab for the care they gave to our mother. Special thanks to Susan for her personal vigilance. Graveside services will be Mon. March 11, 2002, 1 p.m., Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Ave, and "N" St. Directors, Larkin Mortuary. Burial: 3/11/2002
