Deceased Name: CRAB ORCHARD -- Phillip Noland
CRAB ORCHARD -- Phillip Noland, 82, of Stanford Street, a retired Department of Highways employee and husband of Betty Noland, died Saturday at Fort Logan Hospital, Stanford. Services 11 a.m. Tuesday at Martin Funeral Home. Visitation after 5 p.m. today.

NOLAND- Philip Gordon Noland, 82 of Stanford St., Crab Orchard, died Saturday, January 19 at the For Logan Hospital in Stanford of an extended illness.
He was born Sept. 25, 1908 in Lincoln County to the late Abner V. Noland and Anna Park Noland. He was a retired employee of the State Highway Dept. and a member of the Hebron Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Harper Noland, Crab Orchard; two sons, Wayne Gordon Noland, Hustonville, and Bobby Franklin Noland of Crab Orchard; two daughters, Sherry Lynn Irvin of Crab Orchard and Robin Louise Harris of Stanford; one brother, Perry Noland, Stanford; one sister, Jessie Paul Leece of Picqua, Oh.; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 22 at the Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Carr officiating. Burial was at Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers were David T. Noland, Wayne Noland Jr., Anthony Scott Noland, Howard Russell Noland, Dickie Gilbert and Ronnie Gilbert. (1990)
