Wayne Gordon Noland, 55, of Moreland, died Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.

Born June 15, 1941, in Woodford County, he was a son of Elizabeth Harper Noland of Crab Orchard and the late Phillip Noland.

He was a repairman for GTE for 32 years and a member of Moreland United Methodist Church.

Additional survivors include his wife, Carolyn Henson Noland; a daughter, Christi Noland, at home; two sons, Wayne Noland Jr. of Junction City and David Noland of Hustonville; two sisters, Robin Harris of Stanford and Sherry Irvin of Crab Orchard; and five grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Wayne Watts. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Payton, Wayne Noland Jr., David Noland, Jason Austin Jr., Shelby Reed, Elwood Randolph, J.W. Lynn and Bruce Smith.

Honorary pallbearers are Connie Barber, Neil Reed, co-workers at GTE and many friends.
