Mrs. Harvey S. Ellis, aged 59, died at her home in New Castle, Saturday morning at 8:45 o'clock, according to a message received by Mrs. F. A. Atkins, her sister, of this city. Mrs. Ellis was a daughter of Dr. Robert Ryland, and his wife, who was Miss Presley Thornton, who spent her childhood days in Lexington. The funeral services and interment will be held in New Castle. Besides her husband, Mrs. Ellis is survived by a daughter and four sons. She was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church and a great church worker.

Danville friends were notified Saturday of the sudden death from heart disease of Mrs. Harvey Ellis in New Castle. Mrs. Ellis was fifty years old and was the mother of Mr. Robert Ellis, who married Miss Amelia Tompkins, of this place.
