Funeral services for Mrs. Sam Billingsley, 60, of Redland were scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Redland Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Overton and Rev. L. B. Morgan officiating and interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery.
Mrs. Billingsley died Suddenly Saturday morning at her residence. She was born March 25, 1903, in Angelina County, and had resided here all of her life. She was a member of the Redland Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Sam D. Billingsley of Redland; daughters, Mrs. Ruth Conner of Freeport, Mrs. Ruby Williams of Redland and Mrs. LaDell Bynum of Lufkin; two sons, Richard Billingsley of Channelview, and Rev. Albert Billingsley of Milam, Ohio; sisters, Mrs. Gladys Hughes and Mrs. Dollie Carter, both of Redland, Mrs. Selma Billingsley of Huntington, Mrs. Cleo Neuburn of Bullard, Mrs. Addie Franklin of Odessa, and Mrs. Ida Carroll of Lufkin; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
