The YODER and HESS and BENNETT Families lived in the close knit rural community of Rosedale, Oklahoma, and attended the Rosedale School. The YODER Family is a branch of the Amish community.

Marriage--
On 2 Aug 1913 in Oklahoma, Edward S Bennett was united in marriage to Elsie Margaret Kreie/Hess. Elsie Margaret was the first wife of Edward S Bennett.

[After Elsie Margaret passed away in 1949, her husband Edward remarried. Edward's second wife was Bessie Yoder Bennett (1897-1991). There were no children from the union of Bessie and Edward.]

There were three children from the union of Elsie Margaret and Edward S Bennett---
Robert Wayne Bennett (b 1915)
Lena Frances Bennett Tomasek/Schnaubert (1916-1999)
James Bennett (b 1920)

Death and Burial--
Elsie Margaret passed away in 1949, and predeceased her spouse Edward S Bennett who passed away in 1964. They were laid to rest in the same cemetery and share the same grave marker.
