William Pete Kreie
William Pete Kreie, 75, retired farmer, died in Broadacres hospital at 4 p.m. Friday after a six months illness.
He was born in Missouri Apr. 27, 1875 and came to Kansas with his parents when he was seven years old. He spent most of his life in the Sylvia community.
Mrs. Kreie died in 1946. He had been living with his sons and daughters since then.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ed Willinger, Hudson, and Mrs. Walter Dowell, Dighton; two sons, Orvile, Hudson, and Ira, Turon; a sister, Mrs. Lydia Firebaugh, Hutchinson; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Sylvia Methodist church with burial in Stafford cemetery.
