LAYTON – Delores May Green Hampson Adams passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010 of an undetermined cause.
Delores was born July 31, 1931 in Ogden, Utah to Alfred and Lucille Groves Green.
She married Frank Wayne Hampson August 21, 1949 in Elko Nevada. They had two daughters, Vickie Ann Hampson Ferguson and Linda Kay Hampson Osborn. Vickie passed away on July 30, 1990.
She married Thayne Adams on May 28, 1958 in Evanston, Wyoming. They had a lovely and special daughter Kathy Adams Williams. Thayne passed away from a construction accident on November 29, 1966.
Delores worked as a desk clerk at Motel 6 in Ogden, Utah and later managed the Ogden Imperial Motel for 14 years. She retired in 1990 and moved to Layton to be close to her daughter Kathy. Her favorite times were spent going to Wendover.
She is survived by her daughters Kathy (Cal) Williams, Linda Hampson Osborn, Laguna Hills, CA; wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 East Crestwood. Friends may visit family Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
