CLINTON, Iowa -- Ilean R. Humphreys, 79, of Clinton, died Sunday Aug. 1 at the Alverno Health Care Facility.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday August 4, 2010 at Zion Lutheran Church. Burial followed at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Eric Johnson, Mike Heusinkveld, Travis Tubbs, Steven Ryner, Jeff weaver, Gary Vath anmd Judge David Sivright.Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren.
Ilean Ryner was born on September 7, 1930 in Clinton, Iowa to Ellsworth and Minnie (Broders). She married Lester C. Humphreys on June 10, 1955 at Zion Lutheran Church.
She was a 1948 graduate of Clinton High School.
She was a legal secretary for Shaff Farwell and Seneff until retiring in 1989. She had been a sub para- educator fpr the Clinton Community School District for over ten years.
She was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church, volunteered with the discovery center, and was a professional sports fan and spectator as she enjoyed watching her grandchildren's events.
She is survived by husband Les, of Clinton; three daughters, Lynn( Eric) Johnson of Davenport, IA, Lorene Chevrier of Aiken,South Carolina, and Lisa( Mike ) Heusinveld of Clinton, Iowa: six grandchildren: Adam, Aaron, Meredith, Aubrey, Ethan, and Hannah; One brother, Gail (Diana) Ryner of Clinton, Iowa: and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
