Angeline Foreman Burk born in Paulding County, Ohio August 16, 1865 and departed this earthly pilgrimage April 14, 1945, at the age of 79 years 7 months and 28 days.
She was the daughter of the late A.J. Foreman.
She was united in marriage to George Burk, June 22, 1881, who preceded her in death March 5, 1937. To this union were born six children - Gertrude, who died in infancy, Mrs. Myrtle Whetstone and William, of Payne, Jack, who died at the age of 19 years, Mrs. Etta Clements, who died in January 1944, and Mrs. Helen Ruger of Huntertown, Ind., two brothers survive her, Henry Foreman of Bristol, Ind., and Grant Foreman of Payne, O., ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was a conscientious christian for many years. She was converted and became a charter member of the Church of the Nazarene, Payne, in 1918.
She was devoted to her family and her life has been a great blessing to all who knew her. The heritage she leaves to her children and grandchildren will live on and always be a benediction to those left behind.
The separation fromt his devoted mother is the heaviest stroke of divine providence. But may the great God who in his tender mercy has seen fit to remove the rose from our small garden and transplant it in his own, watch over the loved ones she left behind until they are united in that land where there will be no more sickness sorrow, and death.
