THE PARIS NEWS-Gary Lee Anderson, 53, of Paris died Friday, April 2 ,1999, at Zale Lipshy Hospital ,Dallas.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 5, 1999, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Flowers officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Anderson was born Dec.19,1945, in Bogata to Marvin and Ruth Cawley Anderson.He attended Cunningham schools and was a Baptist. He was well-known throughout the region as a musician which was one of his greatest joys in life. He married Shirley Johnson Oct.6,1966, in Paris.
Surviving are his wife; a son,Terry Anderson and wife Robin of Paris; a daughter, Jeri Anderson Hoskins and husband Delvin of Blossom; four grandchildren, Ashley Anderson, Garrett Anderson, Levi Hoskins and Olivia Anderson; one brother, Ronnie Anderson of Paris; and a sister, Pat Berry of Paris. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother,Kenneth Anderson of Paris.
Pallbearers will be Mike White, Staley Rodgers, Tim Woods, J.E. Gough ,Travis Smith and Darrin Turner. Art Huffman and Glenn Evans will be honorary bearers'
