THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 29 Dec 1988. 'Ruth Anderson, 71, wife of Marvin Lee Anderson, 310-19th NE, died at 4:20 p.m. Thursday, 22 Dec 1988, in St. Joseph's Hospital. Services were held Saturday, 24 Dec, at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Flowers officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Anderson was born 18 Mar 1917, in Red River County, a daughter of John Cawley and Mittie Crump Cawley. She attended Red River County schools and married Mr. Anderson on 5 Aug 1934. They moved to Paris in 1952. She was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church at Reno. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Patricia Jane Berry of Paris; three sons, Kenneth Anderson of Paris, Gary Anderson of Paris and Ronnie Anderson of Paris; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Ruby Magano of Vidor; and two brothers, Lloyd Cawley of Bogata and Melvin Cawley of Paris. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Gaylon Berry, on 25 Feb 1985, and a brother, Grant Cawley on 8 Apr 1974.'
