Catherine Goodman was the second wife of James Davis Price. It is not known for sure who her parents were, but I believe that her father was Joseph Goodman and her mother Catherine "Kate" Jones. Her exact birthdate is unknown...sometime between 1855 and 1858, but her death date is part of the pension record when she applied for a Civil War Pension based on the service of James Davis Price. Catherine and James had three children, Lewis, Minnie and Elsie. She does not have a marked grave, but descendants told the Hawkins Co. Genealogical and Historical Society that she was buried in the Burton Cemetery on Pumpkin Valley Road West in Hawkins Co., TN.
