Mrs. Misik was born on Aug. 3, 1919, in Farrell, a daughter of George and Lena Coros Moldovan.
She graduated from Farrell High School in 1937.
A homemaker, Mrs. Misik was a longtime member of St. Ann's Church in Farrell and belonged to its Altar Society.
She also was a "longtimer" in the Thursday Noon Al-Anon Family Group.
Jennie enjoyed crocheting, reading, bowling, playing cards and walking at the mall.
Her husband, Michael J. Misik whom she married on July 9, 1944, passed away Oct. 8, 1996.
She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Stanton and her husband Edward; and Helaine Ferringer and her husband Howard, all Hermitage; a son, Michael "Jerry" Misik and his wife Kay, Tega Cay, S.C.; and her 10 grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Misik was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ann Crompton; and three brothers, George, Charles and Sam Moldovan.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Prince of Peace Center, 502 Darr Ave., Farrell, PA 16121.
