Linda Jean Misik Stanton
Mrs. Stanton was born May 12, 1948, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Michael and Eugenia "Jennie" Moldovan Misik. A lifelong area resident, she was a 1966 graduate of Farrell High School and attended Youngstown State University.
During the 1970s Linda was employed at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp. for 10 years. She later co-owned Bayberry West in Sharon from 1986 to 1999 and then worked at Surf 724 and Hickory Printing for approximately 10 years.
She was a member of Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage.
Affectionately called "LJMQ," Linda loved people and enjoyed her time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Edward P. Stanton, whom she married May 20, 1972, in the former St. Ann's Church in Farrell; a daughter, Meg E. Stanton, Pittsburgh; a son, Michael E. Stanton and his wife Shauna, Richmond, Va.; and a grandson, who was the light of her life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood
