Helen Sue Bevill, 70, of Winnfield, died Monday, February 1, 1999, in Willis Knighton Hospital in Shreveport. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 4, in Garden of Memories in Winnfield with Rev. Eugene Love and Rev. Kenneth Tarver officiating. Arrangements were made under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Winnfield. She is survived by two sons, Donald L. Brazzell and Ronald Brazzell and wife, Becky, all of Winnfield; six sisters, Agnes Aldy of Batesville, MS, Odell Allen of Clarks, Myrtis Clack of Holly Ridge, Thelma LACaz of Rayville, Evelyn McDaniel of Oak Grove, and Hazel Thornhill of Tioga; two brothers, Elmer Cheek of Palestine, TX, and Herman Cheek of Pineville; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Charles Bice, Rodney Bradford, Bobby Joe Brazzel, Jimmy Brazzel, Roy Max Brazzel, Ronald Wayne Griffen, Jerry Hightower, and Tom Moore. Honorary pallbearers were Ronald Michael Brazzel, L. C. Collier, Billy Fletcher, Glen Roy Folden, Tim Gaar, Roger Long, Jerry McManus, Charlie Muse, Mike Smith, Perry Joe Smith, and Waymon LaCaz.
