Rev. Christopher Columbus Wright and Rebecca Martha Ellisor were married Feb 19, 1879, in Houston County, Texas, where Martha lived her parents until her marriage. They were both devout Christians, and raised their 11 children in the Methodist faith. Chris, as he was called, was a Mason. Rebecca belonged to the Easter Star order. They were busy rearing their 11 children, working hard, and attending church services. They lived a full life together. They were both buried in Ryan Chapel Cemetery where many Wrights were buried.
