Frederick "Fred" Augustus Wright one of eleven children born to Christopher Columbus Wright and Martha Rebecca (Ellisor) Wright.

Fred A. Wright and Fannie Chaffin were married in Anderson County, Texas on October 14, 1908.

They were the parents of three children:

1. Dorothea Hilda Wright: b 1909 Houston County, TX - d July 26, 1980 Lufkin, Angelina County, TX. Married Herman Estes.

2. Ruthie Beatrice Wright: b 1915 TX - d unknown. Married William H. Moore Jr.

3. Frederick Eugene Wright: b Mar 6, 1919 Burke, angelina co, TX - d Frb 24, 1994 Conroe, Montgomery Co, TX. Married Alda Faye Shine. Alda Faye Shine: b 1920 - d unknown. Both Ryan Chapel Cemetery near his parents.

His paternal Grandparents were Rev. Henry Dawson "H.D." Wright and Martha Ann (Jacks) Wright. Rev Henry Wright was the first Pastor of Ryan Chapel Methodist Church South in 1866, now called Ryan Chapel United Methodist Church. Rev. Henry Dawson Wright and Martha Ann (Jacks) Wright buried in Ryan Chapel Cemetery.
