Adam, 72, Farmer, 2400, PA
Margaret, 64, PA
James, 21, Farmer, OH
William, 20, Farmer, OH
Mary Thomas, 80, PA

Peggy is my 3rd maternal Gr-Grandmother. Have proven her name to be Margaret Catherine as Peggy is called "Catherine" in her son-in-law, John W Smith's, 1882 biographical sketch "A History & Cyclopaedia of Butler County, Ohio." .

Many thanks and gratitude to Dave Kennedy for providing the name of Peggy's parents. This is another family mystery solved with the help of a gracious friend and fellow researcher.

Note:
The lineage as stated in "Compendium of American Genealogy", is NOT the lineage for this Margaret. Her father is not John Thomas, but she is the daughter of John's brother Henry.
The Margaret who is the d/o John, was b. 1783 per her birth record. Our Peggy was born 4 or 5 yrs later.
