Our baby sister. All her life she was plagued by health problems that eventually took her life. The unnamed illness stumped doctors and kept her in and out of hospitals from the time she was 5 years old. She never complained, but took each day for what it was. She will be remembered for her bravery, loyalty. loving heart, and kindness. She touched our lives with the spirit of an angel, and gave joy to all who knew her.
Deborah Jean Darnell was 51 years old when she died January 8 2005, after spending more than a month in the hospital in Augusta. She was the daughter of Amos Goines and Katherine Brown Darnell of Augusta. She attended Bayvale School, Murphy Jr High, and Glenn Hill High School where she graduated in 1973. She was a part time employee of the Carswell Jewelry Store for 10 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in Waynesboro Georgia.
